About Us

Brisbane Fairways Golf Club

The club formerly known as Calamvale Fairways Golf Club was established in the year 2000.

Brisbane Fairways Golf Club does not represent anyone organisation or locality.

The club changed its name to Brisbane Fairways Golf Club in 2012.

We are a group of golfers of all ages and skill levels who enjoy playing golf at a wide variety of excellent courses in a friendly and supportive environment. Brisbane Fairways Golf Club Member numbers vary from year to year with 30 to 40 players competing at each game.  All our members hold Australian Golf Union handicaps.  Our club is a competition provider and as such our scores are regularly inputted to Golflink.  Our committee can advise on some cheap options with regard to anybody holding and maintaining a real handicap.

Games are played fortnightly at some of the best courses in SE Queensland.  Have a look at the Fixture list. The competitions are varied including Stableford, Stroke, Foursomes, Ambrose, Matchplay and Butcher’s pairs as well as the annual Club Championships.

Each game of the year is a competition in its own right, and prizes are awarded to the winners as well as nearest the pins, longest drive and best 2nd approach.

The Club has been represented at the annual Queensland and Australian Golf Club Championships.

The club won the 2009 State Title and finished in the top ten in 2010 & 2011.

We welcome new members and visitors – come and join us for a game.
